Barbara Meier (born July 25, 1986 in Amberg Germany) is a model known for her vibrant red hair.

In 2007, instead of taking mathematics at university as she had planned, Meier was invited by a model scout to try out for the television show, Germany’s Next Topmodel, hosted by supermodel, Heidi Klum.

The total number of entrants was over 16,000 and she was chosen as one of the contestants in the show’s second season. She eventually won the contest and was crowned Germany’s Next Topmodel.

Her prizes included a modeling contract with agency IMG Models and a cover for German Cosmopolitan Magazine.

Since winning Meier has done a shoot for jeweler Cartier and signed an endorsement deal with Pantene.
