With a trademark husky voice and a sex appeal that keeps her ranked among the most beautiful stars in Hollywood, Demi Moore has managed to do things her own way and stay on top of the game. Born Demetria Guynes on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico, Demi did not have the easiest of childhoods. As a child she moved over 40 times, and when she was 16 she dropped out of High School to model. She never met her biological father, and her adopted father committed suicide when she was 18. That same year she married her first husband, Freddy Moore, whose name she still carries today.
After modeling in Europe Demi came back to Los Angeles, and in 1982 she landed her first big role in the soap opera 'General Hospital.' In 1984 she left the soap and appeared in the classic 80s 'brat pack' film, 'St. Elmo's Fire'. The movie proved to be the turning point in her career.
1984 also saw the end to her first marriage. After her divorce she became engaged to Emilio Estevez. The couple split after three years and in 1987 she married 'Die Hard' stud Bruce Willis. In the next few years Demi Moore made some of the biggest films of her career. Besides 'Ghost' (1990) 'A Few Good Men' (1992) and 'Indecent Proposal' (1993) Moore twice appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair. The first time was in 1991 while she was pregnant with her daughter Scout. The second was in 1992 wearing nothing but a suit that was 'painted' on. These films along with her knack for publicity made her the highest paid actress in Hollywood in the 90s pulling in over $10 million per film.
As much as stars may try to hide it is their private lives that lead to some of their biggest exposures. In 2003 Demi began a relationship with Ashton Kutcher who is 15 years younger than she. The subject of endless tabloid speculation the couple was married in Los Angeles in September 2005. Moore and Kutcher both recently appeared in Emilio Estevez's well-received ensemble drama 'Bobby'.
