Stella McCartney Sees Scarlett

At a screening of ‘The Party’ at Stella McCartney’s West Hollywood boutique Tuesday, the fashion-designer/Beatle-progeny announced that she’s creating Scarlett Johansson’s wedding dress.

“I’m definitely doing her wedding dress,” said Sir Paul’s daughter, who designed Madonna’s dress for her 2000 wedding to director Guy Ritchie.

Johansson, however, is entirely unaware of the fact.

“She doesn’t know it yet,” said Stella.

Apparently, Ms. McCartney is a firm believer in the power of positive thinking. Maybe this was just a public creative visualization, a hope that the universe will sense her thoughts and deliver her wish upon her doorstep.

Perhaps a more apropos film for this screening would have been ‘The Secret.’
