Halle Berry Hoofs It For Women’s Cancer

Nahla Ariela’s mom put her foot where her mouth is on Saturday to raise money for ovarian and breast cancer. Halle Berry was one of 50,000 people who pounded the pavement for the 15th annual Entertainment Industry Foundation Revlon Run/Walk for Women in Los Angeles. The event is held every year on the day before Mother’s Day and has raised over $50 million since its inception.

Tom Selleck and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Carrie Ann Inaba co-hosted the fundraiser while Melissa Manchester moved more than feet with her new song “The Power of Ribbons.” Proceeds from the anthem go to fight breast cancer, in honor of her friend Nancy Colton. Other celebs walking the talk were Shelley Hennig, Jennier Stone, Jesse McCartney, Beau Garrett, John Hensley, and Chad Rogers.

New York City celebrated its 11th annual version of the event with 40,000 marchers. The ‘Today’ show’s Tiki Barber and ‘Law and Order’s’ Epatha Merkerson hosted the East Coast run/walk along with Revlon ambassador and actress Beau Garrett.
