U.S. authorities have seized the private diaries of Anne Hathaway during a raid on her ex Raffaello Follieri’s apartment. Follieri, whose has moved from $37,500/month digs in Trump Tower into a 7½ x 8-foot cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center, was charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering.
Unfortunately, no one has yet leaked the contents of the ‘Get Smart’ star’s private thoughts, but she may have been doing a bit of double-agenting on the side. Follieri is rumored to be suspicious of her role in his arrest.
“He was in Europe, working on a deal,” said an unnamed “close friend.” “He didn’t have to come back to New York. He knew he was being investigated, but she kept calling him, saying they needed to resolve their future. A few days after his return, he was arrested.”
Hathaway’s reps have said that the idea of her involvement is “nonsense,” but I hope it’s true. She always seemed way too put-together to have actually had feelings for him.
In addition to his alleged criminal activity, Follieri seems to have hung out with a lot of shady types. Also seized in the raid were photos of him with Pope John Paul II and John McCain.
