Brad Pitt arrived with sons Pax and Maddox in tow at the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday. Angelina Jolie remained in South of France with the rest of the brood including newborn twins Vivenne and Knox. (They seem to like boys names that end in “X.”)
Pitt’s new film ‘Burn After Reading,’ directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, is playing at the fest. The film also stars George Clooney, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton, and Coen constant Frances McDormand.
Pitt and Clooney hosted a fundraiser Tuesday evening for their charity Not On Our Watch, which has raised more than $7 million to help victims both of the humanitarian crisis in the Darfur region of Sudan and the cyclone in Myanmar, also known as Burma.
The org has kept the World Food Program from closing its doors by donating money for helicopters and planes flying into Darfur. Due to deteriorating security, roads in the region are extremely dangerous. 100 World Food Program trucks have been hijacked this year alone. Thanks to Pitt and Clooney’s awareness and fundraising efforts, the WFP kept 3.3 million people fed last month.
